About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and solution-focused individual to join our Community Services team as an Intensive Housing Management Officer. This exciting opportunity will provide a customer-focused housing service provision and deliver a day-to-day housing management service across supported accommodation in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage lease and service level agreements with partner agencies
  • Ensure occupancy, rent collection, and arrears targets are met through lettings and refurbishments of properties
  • Provide practical housing assistance and information to customers
  • Adhere to and assist in the management of the schemes allocations procedure
  • Monitor and meet relevant health and safety standards in properties
  • Monitor the delivery of reactive repairs and planned maintenance across properties
  • Promote and encourage customer involvement in housing management policy formulation and service delivery
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of legislation in regard to Supporting People
  • Experience of working with vulnerable clients
  • Experience of keeping accurate and compliant records
  • Experience of housing management duties
  • Experience of liaison with agencies and partner organisations
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
