We are seeking an experienced Lead Landscape Team Manager to oversee our soft landscaping team and ensure the successful completion of projects to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to take on a leadership role and work collaboratively with our team.
About the Role
As a Lead Landscape Team Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating tasks, maintaining site safety, and ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and to the client's satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience by working closely with our senior management team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the soft landscaping team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement effective project plans, allocating resources and prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and delivering high-quality results.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Monitor and control budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures, identifying areas for growth and development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A full valid UK driving licence and CSCS card is essential.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
