Job Title: EHCP/High Needs Coordinator

The EHCP/High Needs Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) or High Needs receive appropriate support to thrive in their academic journey at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College.

This role involves coordinating and managing the provision for young people with EHCPs and High Needs, working closely with the Director of Student Support, the Senior Leadership Team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating EHCPs and High Needs provision
  • Working with students, parents, and carers to understand individual needs
  • Developing and implementing support plans
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure effective support
  • Monitoring and evaluating student progress

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with students, parents, and carers from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of EHCPs and High Needs provision
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
