The Role

\

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our strategic vision, driving our mission forward with energy and authenticity.

\

You will represent Shelter at the highest levels, championing housing justice with policymakers, the media, donors, and supporters. Central to your leadership will be a commitment to anti-racism and social justice, embedding equity and inclusion into every aspect of our work.

\

Your Responsibilities

\

As CEO, you will oversee our financial health and take bold, strategic actions to advance our goals. You will ensure Shelter remains accountable and sustainable while balancing immediate priorities with long-term ambitions.

\

You will engage diverse audiences, from local communities to key decision-makers, building partnerships and fostering collaboration across teams, volunteers, and supporters. Your visionary leadership will drive progress even in an unpredictable external landscape.

You'll have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving organizational success. Your ability to think strategically and make informed decisions will be essential in this role.

What We Offer

\

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. You'll also receive 30 days of annual leave, enhanced family-friendly policies, pension, and interest-free travel loans.
