Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely school in Marlow. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning, both within and outside of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with their learning needs, including those with SEN such as Autism, ADHD, or mobility issues.
  • Working with small groups to support classroom activities and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning, setup, and management.
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help.
  • Supporting pupils with specific SEN, including Autism, ADHD, or mobility issues.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting.
  • Good knowledge of SEN or a passion to develop.
  • Able to manage challenging behavior and maintain a calm and patient demeanor.
  • Able to commit to working fixed days, full or part-time.
  • Has a clear and valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
