MET Technician

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks to ensure vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, ensuring vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.
- Dismantling and Inspection: Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop, carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify areas for repair.
- Parts Procurement and Installation: Order replacement parts and re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required.
- Technical Expertise: You must have experience as a MET in a bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking to transition into a bodyshop role.
- Organizational Skills: Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Work as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision, and be flexible in your approach.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining clean and tidy work areas.
