MET Technician

We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our brand-new team in Long Eaton, Nottingham. As a key member of our Accident Repair Bodyshop team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional vehicle repair services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated jobs, ensuring high-quality results and meeting customer expectations.
- Dismantle vehicles for panel shop work, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Order replacement parts and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition, maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced MET Technician who can:
- Plan and manage their workload effectively to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Work safely and efficiently under pressure, adhering to health and safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives, while also working independently with minimal supervision.
- Be flexible and adaptable in their approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a MET Technician in a bodyshop environment or a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking to transition to a bodyshop role.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
