We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team at Merje, a leading Wealth Management firm. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our advisers in completing non-client facing tasks related to the preparation and administration of recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with advisers to ensure timely updates and reports are issued to clients.
- Review client investment portfolios, asset allocations, and risk profiles as requested.
- Prepare recommendations, including identifying areas for discussion, undertaking research, and preparing documentation for review by advisers.
- Implement recommendations, including preparing suitability reports, completing applications, and making changes to client investment portfolios.
- Prepare and maintain client files, including supporting Financial Planners with ad hoc queries and tasks.
- Ensure compliance with the firm's processes and procedures, including regulatory requirements.
- DipPFS (Level 4) is essential for this role, with a further expectation to work towards Chartered (Level 6) status.
- Excellent technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services market.
- Proven ability to work well as an individual and within a team.
- Experience in producing high-quality suitability reports and supporting research with strong compliance results.
