Staff SoC Engineer

About the Role
Arm's Systems Development team is seeking a highly skilled SoC Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge subsystems and SoC designs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Staff SoC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and verifying various compute subsystems, including writing micro-architecture specifications, developing RTL, and running design checks. You will also work closely with the verification team to review test plans and debug design issues, and with the implementation team to optimize designs.
Requirements
- Experience in RTL design for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
- Knowledge of static design checks, synthesis, and timing analysis, as well as power management techniques and power and clock domain crossing
- Understanding of computer architecture and systems, with practical experience in processor-based system designs
- Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g. TCL, Perl, Python)
- Technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures
- Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDR/LPDDR/HBM, Ethernet, etc.
- High-level programming experience in C/C++ and/or assembly language
- Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures
