About This Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join Boston Consulting Group's Enterprise Procurement & Payables function as a key leader in supplier risk and sustainability management. As a Sustainability Risk Director, you will play a vital role in driving the company's procurement strategies and ensuring that supplier relationships are effectively managed to mitigate key risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supplier risk management and strategic supplier management programs globally, ensuring alignment with BCG's culture and vision for procurement excellence.
  • Lead the development and execution of supplier management and risk strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and reduce complexity within the procurement process.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including senior leadership across finance, IT, legal, and sustainability, to ensure a unified approach to supplier management and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and templates that drive toward procurement excellence, and provide strategic direction on supplier processes to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, with exposure to supplier risk, supplier management, ESG, and sustainability.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of developing and implementing supplier risk management, and strategic supplier management programs in a global organization.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior leadership across the firm.
