Job Overview

We are seeking an Automation Engineering Apprentice to join our team in East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for automation engineering to develop their skills and knowledge.

About the Role

This apprenticeship program offers a unique combination of classroom training, on-the-job training, and mentorship from experienced automation engineers. You will gain hands-on experience with practical workshop and tool usage skills, as well as develop your technical skills in areas such as data analysis and problem-solving.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must meet certain requirements. These include having lived in the UK or an EEA country for 3 years prior to commencing the apprenticeship, being a resident of the UK, and not being registered to study on a UK government-funded course ending August 2025 or later.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a substantial work-based project, attending university partner sites to complete a BSc degree, and undergoing PLC programming training. You will also be required to follow guidelines and instructions to deliver results and meet deadlines.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to various benefits, including opportunities for professional development and career advancement within Amazon's RME team.
