Event Safety Coordinator

At Elite Canada Security Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Public Event Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of public events. This is a key role that requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging event logistics, supervising staff, and ensuring the overall success of the event. We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on 32-35 hours of work per week in English.
Key Responsibilities:- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event execution.
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for unexpected events or emergencies.
- Manage inventory levels, procuring materials and equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, clients, and guests to ensure a positive event experience.
- First Aid Certificate: Ensure staff have necessary first aid training.
- Security Guard License: Maintain valid license for event security services.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and mobility.
