About the Role

Cathcart Technology is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join their team in Cumbernauld. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product development lifecycle and driving the design, development, and delivery of the software product.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture and design across Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud. Experience with database knowledge in SQL Server, API design and development, and collaboration with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and features is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-architect a whole new software solution from scratch using Microsoft Azure and modernise the existing system
  • Work closely with the leadership team and other high-calibre Engineers to drive the design, development, and delivery of the software product
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and features, prioritizing tasks based on business value and user feedback
  • Play a key role in shaping the product development lifecycle and driving the design, development, and delivery of the software product
