Software Architect Job Description

**About the Role**

Cathcart Technology is seeking a skilled Software Architect to join their team in Cumbernauld. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product development lifecycle and driving the design, development, and delivery of the software product.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Re-architect a whole new software solution from scratch using Microsoft Azure and modernize the existing monolithic system
* Work closely with the leadership team and other high-calibre Engineers to develop and deliver the software product
* Collaborate with the team to shape the product development lifecycle and drive the design, development, and delivery of the software product

**Requirements**

* Background in software architecture and design across Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
