We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our team at Linsco. As an HSE Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Health, Safety, and Environmental Management: Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with our operations, including workplace hazards, environmental risks, and quality control issues.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development programs for employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that our operations meet the highest standards of quality, including adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure that our operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in the utilities industry.
- Certifications: NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard), EUSR or CSCS in a related subject, NRSWA (SWQR), and working knowledge of HSG47.
- Skills: Proficient in accident/incident investigation and RCA, data analysis, and compiling reports. Competent in core standard Microsoft software.
