Lasswade, Midlothian, United Kingdom undisclosed Full time

About the Role:

As a Charge Nurse at a care centre, you will utilise your compassion and experience to ensure our client's teams deliver high-quality care. You will set an example by building meaningful relationships with our client's patients living with conditions such as dementia and brain injuries.

You will assess each patient's physical, psychological, and social needs, collaborating with their families to create care plans. You will also evaluate these plans against the patients' changing needs. Day-to-day, you will allocate key workers to patients, orientate new staff, and mentor them to the highest standards of care.

You will support our client's senior clinical staff and assist with investigations or complaints. This will ensure that we are always treating our client's patients with dignity and respect.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and supervision qualification. You will have experience in producing well-developed care plans and risk assessments. You will also have knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.

Extensive nursing experience in a mental health setting, particularly caring for patients with dementia, is essential. You will be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.

Our Rewards Package:

In addition to a competitive salary, our client offers a comprehensive rewards package, featuring:

  • Free Learning and Development
  • Holiday, Retail, and Leisure Discounts
  • Nurse Mentor and Refer a Friend Bonus Schemes

If you have the skills and experience required for this role, we encourage you to apply.
