Manufacturing Technician

In the Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre at Jaguar Land Rover, you will be part of a team that powers iconic electric cars. Use your expertise, cutting-edge technology, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient, sustainable, and high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
- First response to breakdowns and controls to deliver minimal downtime using safe working practices
- Carry out PM checks, running checks, and ensure completion to schedule
- Implement permanent corrective actions to recurring issues
- Carry out weekend/shutdown work and deliver projects as per business requirements
- Willingness to undertake training as and when required by the business
Requirements
- Can-do attitude to complex problem-solving and project implementation within an automated environment
- Significant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with CNC Machining Centres, Systems, and Procedures, including Conveyor systems, Gantry, and auxiliary equipment, Machining Aluminium or Steel, or previous experience in a Maintenance profession in a high-volume production environment
- Good working knowledge of PLCs and fault-finding techniques
