About the Service:

Our Family Wellbeing Service is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families in Midlothian. As a Senior Family Wellbeing Practitioner, you will be part of a dedicated team working together to provide high-quality support services.

Service Overview:

  • Purpose: To provide flexible, holistic support to families in need.
  • Age range: 0-18 years.
  • Focus: Avoiding statutory intervention and achieving positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work recognised by the SSSC.
  • Understanding of legal frameworks and national/local practice, policy, procedure, and legislation.
  • Knowledge of systemic interventions and methodologies.

Salary Range: £36,000 - £41,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
