Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to take on the role of Laboratory Manager at Cellular Pathology Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality services in Histopathology, while optimising the growth and profitability of our business.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the laboratory and contracted partners comply with regulatory standards, including CQC, UKAS, and Corporate Health, Safety and Environment standards.
- Support Business Development functions, utilising your broad skill base and technical knowledge.
- Work with Directors and senior managers to ensure the needs of the business are fully met.
- Act as a leader and mentor for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory.
- Plan, schedule and oversee technical department operations to ensure accurate, precise and timely testing of specimens.
