Quality Management System Auditor Role

Pinewood Technologies is seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join our team and contribute to the development of our Quality Management System (QMS).

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Audit Plan for Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Information Security Management System (ISO 27001), scheduling audits with all teams.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with quality and information security standards.
  • Tracking and following up on audit actions.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are updated on schedule, and liaising with team leaders to document processes and objectives.
  • Performing SWOT analysis in relation to QMS and ISMS, and providing solutions to enhance performance and compliance.
  • Auditing suppliers and outsourced processes to ensure they meet the organization's quality and information security standards.
  • Compiling audit data for the Annual Management Review.
  • Providing QMS (ISO 9001) and ISMS (ISO 27001) training to team members and new starters to promote awareness and best practice.
  • Supporting a Business Graduate in the Internal Audit role.
  • Collaborating with external auditors during controls testing, supporting the provision of evidence and agreement on recommendations.
