Clinical Assessor Position

Donard Recruitment is seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a vital role in providing unbiased assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP). You will work with individuals to understand their needs and provide comprehensive reports to support their claims.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Paramedics to further their careers and take on new challenges. The successful candidate will have experience working in a clinical setting and be able to communicate effectively with service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments to evaluate service users' health conditions and disabilities.
- Manage caseloads from end-to-end, including initial review calls and paper-based reports.
- Work autonomously to manage cases to conclusion, using your skills and expertise to make informed decisions.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £38,500 - £41,500 per annum, plus a 5% retention bonus.
- Rising to a maximum annual salary of £45,650 with additional training.
- Full-time and part-time working hours available, including hybrid arrangements.
- Access to training options, including 12 weeks full-time or 14 weeks four days per week.
Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
- Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
