Mental Health Support Coordinator for Communities

This role will deliver place-based mental health support in venues across Torry and Aberdeen City to support residents impacted by the RAAC situation.
As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will empower people to improve their wellbeing, resilience and mental health through psychological wellbeing coaching. You will work with clients on a 1:1 basis, offering coaching within a time-limited structure. Sessions will usually be scheduled Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
You will have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives as they navigate potentially very challenging change. Experience in delivering psychological interventions and good communication skills are essential.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is approximately £25,440 per annum. In addition to your salary, you will be provided with reimbursement of PVG fees, funded training in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, and access to over 100 courses online. You will also receive 30 days annual leave rising to 33 after 5 years' service and 4 public holidays (pro rata).
Job DescriptionThis role involves delivering Time for You support in various venues across Torry and Aberdeen City. You will work with clients to explore and work towards goals that are important to them during this transition. You will predominantly work with clients on a 1:1 basis, using evidence-based cognitive behavioural coaching models.
You will be required to arrange your own supervision in line with regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills, as well as develop professionally in a supportive environment.
