Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Participation Programme Coordinator to join our team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Children in Wales' participation programme, working directly with children and young people, practitioners, and organisations to inform policy and practice development.
Main Duties:
- To inform and enable children and young people to participate effectively and have their views heard by Ministers and policy makers through Young Wales and other participation activity.
- To support the implementation of Article 12 of the UNCRC by gathering the voice of the child to inform policy development.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of children's participation and a proven track record of working with children and young people. They will be able to develop and implement effective participation programmes, work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
