About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Security Solutions Architect to develop and lead the implementation of our cloud and security strategy. As the primary overseer of our cloud infrastructure and security controls, you will ensure their quality, reliability, and scalability while guiding their evolution and integration into Fourth's multi-cloud landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create, communicate, and execute the cloud and security strategy and architecture for the organization.
  • Manage and optimize the performance, availability, and security of our cloud landscape.
  • Architecturally lead and mentor on cloud and security practices, providing guidance, feedback, and a transformative momentum towards a cloud-first and security-first engineering approach.
  • Define and enforce best practice architectural patterns and standards.
  • Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams to understand their cloud and security needs and provide architectural solutions.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in the cloud and security domain.
  • Support and collaborate with cloud engineering and security teams to leverage their expertise and assets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Security-related qualifications very desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, and security.
  • Proficient in cloud technologies and services, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with cloud security measures and best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills with the ability to document and communicate complex solutions.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience and mindset for automating infrastructure and security automation.
