We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate management information to our leadership team to support strategic decision-making and to meet statutory reporting requirements.

This role is integral to the production of financial statements and management information, and requires a candidate with strong technical expertise in financial accounting. You will be responsible for producing Group Annual and Interim Financial Statements, ensuring accurate and timely production of Group management information for our leadership team, and continuously developing and challenging monthly Board management information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing the consolidation of the Group Corporate Plan and Quarterly Forecast Financials.
  • Maintaining a strong control environment within the core financial reporting team processes.
  • Providing technical/financial accounting support to various stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships to achieve objectives.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to get to the root cause of issues.
  • High level of attention to detail and good organisational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of current accounting standards, practice, and guidance.
  • Knowledge of accounting processes and a good understanding of Group consolidation processes.
  • Relevant accountancy experience.
  • Degree level education or equivalent and professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA). (desirable)
