Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled A&E Nurse Specialist to join our team at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care to patients with a wide range of medical needs.

You will be working as part of a close-knit team, promoting interdisciplinary relationships and delivering compassionate care.

About the Role

This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy variety and challenge in their work, as you will be assessing and monitoring patient conditions, checking symptoms and vital signs, and arranging diagnostic tests.

The flexibility in scheduling allows nurses to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments, ensuring they can deliver effective care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

You will be required to display excellent analytical ability and sound decision-making skills in changing clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions

Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an A&E hospital environment within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
