Job Title: Due Diligence Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Due Diligence Researcher to join our Risk and Quant Solutions team in London.

As a Due Diligence Researcher, you will conduct comprehensive and discreet due diligence investigations for top-tier banks, identifying potentially unsuitable business partners, clients, and suppliers that may present criminal, probity, and reputational risk issues.

You will work closely with our clients, utilizing an array of public information, databases, and sources to assess and analyze research results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify subjects of research according to KYC standards
  • Conduct Adverse Media Screening and Database checks using proprietary databases and aggregators
  • Assess and analyze research results applying background knowledge and experience
  • Conduct research in English and one of the following languages: Spanish & Italian
  • Manage workflow, including during busy periods
  • Handle material non-public information (MNPI) and personal identifying information (PII) in accordance with client requirements and the law
  • Work within a global team and communicate effectively with team members as well as the client

Requirements:

  • Degree educated an advantage
  • High level of Spanish and Italian (able to conduct research, read complex text, and transcribe into English)
  • High level writing, analytical, and research skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and simplify complex information
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Team Player, must want to work with others
  • An interest in learning new skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
