Job Summary:

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking an experienced Academic Quality Director to lead our client's quality assurance and control processes in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality standards and regulations, excellent leadership and team management skills, and proficiency with quality management systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and quality reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and drive corrective and preventive actions
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures
  • Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing environment
  • Relevant qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (BEng, HND, CQI, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations (ISO 9001, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency with quality management systems and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
