Job Title: Community Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Community Care Specialist to join our team in Angus. As a Community Care Specialist, you will work directly with individuals who require support with daily living tasks and social activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and arranging medical appointments
  • Support individuals in engaging with their communities through leisure activities, such as outings to day centres, cinemas, and swimming pools
  • Administer and monitor medication, ensuring that each individual receives the necessary support
  • Help maintain tenancies by encouraging daily household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Social Care Worker with relevant experience in supporting individuals with mental health issues or learning disabilities
  • Dedicated and compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable adults
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (due to service locations)
Salary and Benefits:

Competitive salary circa £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Paid travel during shifts and 45p per mile fuel allowance
