We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Network Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for network security and a keen eye for detail.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Network & Security Engineer looking to grow within a leading logistics organisation. You will have the chance to work with advanced technology and contribute to the security and efficiency of global networks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain network and security platforms, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Manage firewalls, VPN solutions, and network access control for enhanced security.
- Conduct diagnostics and analysis on network security systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Monitor network traffic to optimise performance and identify potential threats.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including network designs, specifications, and roll-out plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into new systems and applications.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience with Cisco network support.
- Experience supporting multi-site Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and experience with network segmentation.
- Familiarity with Cisco hardware and software, including Meraki.
- Experience with network monitoring solutions and RADIUS/TACACS.
- Excellent documentation skills, including experience with Visio and Microsoft Office.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
- CompTIA Network+ certification.
