The Job Description

This part-time position involves working one-to-one with students who require additional support in Maths and English. You will need to build positive relationships with students, plan and deliver tailored lessons, and implement strategies to maintain focus and motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Maths & English lessons to students with EHCPs for Special Educational Needs
  • Work with schools to gain schemes of work and report any issues or concerns
  • Complete weekly reports of student engagement and attainment, record weekly attendance figures

Requirements:

  • A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS)
  • Proven experience of instructing or teaching young people
  • Ability to work around Preston

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
