WINNER is seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team based in Mansfield.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude and hands-on experience in tool making to meet precise specifications, with a focus on producing high-quality precision tooling used in various manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machinery including mills, grinders, and lathes to produce tooling components
  • Troubleshoot issues related to tooling and production processes
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
  • Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean & tidy working environment

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and machinery relevant to tool making
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and principles
  • Experience in plastics injection moulding processes is advantageous
  • Competence in cylindrical grinding, surface grinding and benchwork required
  • Experience/Knowledge of milling, turning and other machining techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
  • Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment
