Supporting Pupils with SEND

We are recruiting for a motivated and caring Primary SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Austin Fraser. This role involves working with a group of 10-12 children with complex needs, including some non-verbal individuals, in a SEN room setting.

To succeed in this position, you will need experience of working with primary school-aged children and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your ability to create an inclusive and supportive environment, alongside two other members of staff, will be crucial in enabling these pupils to develop their skills and thrive.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a genuine passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:
