Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our team in Hemel Hempstead.
The successful candidate will be a mobile operative and engineer responsible for responding to and completing repairs as directed. They will carry out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works, and other similar activities within domestic and other properties.
The ideal candidate will utilise all aspects of their specialist trade and secondary/multi trades, as well as their excellent analytical skills in diagnosing faults and implementing remedies on the first visit to the property as much as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure maintenance works are completed safely to SHE requirements, delivered efficiently, and to a professionally high standard.
- Work flexibly, alone or within a team, and complete works within required timescales and deadlines.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and skills of trainees, apprentices, and other professional development.
- Provide an out-of-hours service provision on a rota or other basis.
- Robust time management and an eye for detail.
- Ability to provide excellent and empathetic customer-focused services to a broad range of customers and residents.
- Agility, multitasking, and a genuine care for contributing to positive outcomes.
