Industrial Mechanical Technician Opportunity

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our maintenance team at our factory in King's Lynn. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes, and will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of five years' experience in a similar position. Ideally, you will have experience with fork trucks, MEWPS (mobile elevating work platforms) overhead cranes, confined spaces, welding and machining. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on our equipment and machinery, including cleaning, lubricating and replacing parts as needed.
- Identify and report any potential problems or defects with equipment or machinery, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in the field, and develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise.
- Train and support junior members of the team, where required.
