Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Test Engineer to join our team at our purpose-built testing facility in Northamptonshire.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will spend the first 2-4 months shadowing experienced Test Engineers across various shifts before taking on the responsibility of running the Night shift for the lab.
As a Graduate Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving kick-off for testing projects from Project Managers/Lab Supervisors
- Reporting testing project status to Project Managers/Lab Supervisors
- Creating test project reports
- Monitoring and identifying correct operation of test equipment, cables, and reporting failures
You will work with a range of tests, including climatic, vibration, and shock testing, and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art test chambers.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, such as Automotive, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
- Comfortable working on a night shift as the sole Technician
