Job SummaryVenn Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Team Manager to join our client's team on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting contaminated land, air quality, private water supplies, and regulation of industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate statutory nuisance complaints and pollution-related anti-social behaviour
- Advise planning and licensing teams
- Conduct inspections, investigate complaints, and take appropriate actions
- Prepare reports and participate in council meetings
- Relevant degree in Environmental Health or related field preferred
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in local government or regulatory environment
- Strong understanding of contaminated land, air quality, private water supply, and pollution control
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage varied workload
