Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile cash transactions in school, manage Finance Administrators, and report to Senior Finance Officers.
  • Provide financial systems-based solutions, including requisitions, ordering, and payment of goods for approved budgets.
  • Manage budgets ranging from £1m to £6m, with non-pay budgets approximately 20% of the annual budget.
  • Provide financial reports, assist with budget monitoring, and manage debtors and creditors balances.
  • Actively manage debtors and creditors balances, calculate internal recharges, and discuss value for money with the Chief Finance Officer.
  • Assist with internal and statutory audits, and contribute to the preparation of regulatory reports.
  • Manage cashless pay systems, cash/cheques handling, banking, and other school self-generated income.
  • Manage fixed assets and inventory, including portable assets and school funds.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
