Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Operations Manager to support the Head of Service Delivery with all aspects of technical and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure that services provided by our TPAs meet required levels, proactively developed to enhance customer experience and protect underwriting performance.
  • Build effective relationships at all levels with customers and suppliers.
  • Deal with agent and client enquiries via telephone and in writing to agreed service standards.
  • Liaise with Underwriters to manage and resolve non-standard and complex queries to customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse MI reports to ensure they accurately reflect current position.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of policy cover and recoveries process, discussing confidently with external and internal clients and TPAs.
  • Maximise subrogation and cost containment wherever possible.
  • Assist in resolving customer disputes, preparing papers and liaising with relevant parties.
  • Prepare performance analysis reports and interpret results.
  • Undertake audits of Third-Party Administrators.
  • Assist with delivery and analysis of customer surveys.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of travel, personal accident & loss of licence insurances.
  • Highly articulate and confident when dealing with people at all levels.
  • A clear understanding of Conduct and Compliance requirements and responsibilities.
  • Empathetic, flexible and assertive customer management skills.
  • Able to organise own time and prioritise workload to tight deadlines.
  • Strong numeric, IT and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and an interest in web-based technology.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on location and experience, along with a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
