We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Improvement Officer to join our Dental Business Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a subject matter expert for NHS Dental Services systems, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and assess the impact of system changes.
- Monitor complex data sets to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to improve performance.
- Set KPIs in collaboration with senior managers and monitor delivery against these.
- Create statistical reports to communicate challenges and results to external stakeholders.
- Ensure any changes are made in compliance with NHSBSA policy and procedures.
- Represent NHS Dental Services for Information Governance, including Information Security, Business Continuity, Records Management, and compliance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts.
- Manage all escalated issues and complaints for area of expertise.
- Work with large data sets from a variety of sources and create standard data formats that can be easily analyzed, segmented, and profiled to form data sets.
- Manipulate complex data sets to identify and present opportunities for improvement.
- Plan regular stakeholder engagement sessions and attend relevant industry events.
- Represent NHS Dental Services at industry forums and provide and receive highly complex information.
- Identify opportunities for additional data collections and improvements to support decision making.
- Data cleanse our system data to drive efficiencies and improve data quality.
- Support the Dental Delivery Manager on the planning and delivery of other projects and initiatives as required.
- Provide training and support to internal and external parties to ensure that requirements are fully understood and embedded within organizations.
