About the Role

This is a pivotal position at the core of our technology function, where you'll develop our products and drive future-focused innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the upcoming hardware roadmap, including charger design and accompanying subsystems, with a focus on compatibility with existing solutions.
  • Improving metering quality and developing new connectivity solutions (WIFI, Bluetooth, 4G).
  • Working on user authentication solutions, such as RFID/Near Field Communication.
  • Supporting compliance activities, including visits to EMC laboratories.
  • Conducting rigorous testing and validation of electronic systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing support to the manufacturing team to ensure highest possible quality and volume output.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with proven experience in electronics engineering, ideally within mains voltage powered electronics systems. You should have strong proficiency in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems, as well as familiarity with embedded systems and PCB layout and schematic design.

We're looking for someone who can navigate between standard specifications and correlate specific requirements, with an awareness of mechanical, software, and manufacturing dependencies. You should also have a documentation-focused mindset and the ability to provide high-quality outputs supported by great documentation.
