Behavioural Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team in Chichester, working with primary students at our Pupil Referral Unit. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who face behavioural and emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students academically and socially to help them engage and succeed.
  • Work closely with students in the classroom, encouraging positive behaviour and providing one-on-one support as needed.
  • Join students during break times and lunch, building strong relationships and offering guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Requirements
  • GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above) are required.
  • You must be patient, adaptable, and capable of working with students from a range of backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, open-minded attitude are essential.
