Road Safety Manager

ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a highly skilled Road Safety Manager to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of people and goods across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and report on the delivery of a budget of approximately £6 million, encompassing the Trunk Road Network in the Northwest and Southeast operating company areas, including the Forth Bridge operating company.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, technical input, and research to inform the identification and application of best practice in road safety engineering across the network.
- Analyze and interpret various data and evidence sources to provide clear, concise, and robust outputs to assist decision-making.
- Manage workloads and staff, delivering programs to defined timescales and deadlines, and monitoring progress towards targets.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with professionals within and outside the Scottish Government, including Ministerial support.
- Experience in monitoring and reporting on budgets.
- Experience in road safety engineering and research.

This role falls in scope of the Off Payroll Working in the Public Sector legislation. Any rates of payment quoted will reflect the gross rate per day for the assignment and will be subject to appropriate taxes and statutory costs.
