Road Safety Manager

Certain Advantage is recruiting on behalf of a Public Sector Transport client for a Road Safety Manager with experience in road design standards and managing programmes of works.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor programme development, delivery, and budget performance of the relevant Operating Company units in delivering Accident Investigation and Prevention (AIP) measures using the Asset Management Performance System (AMPS).
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, technical input, and research to identify and apply best practices in road safety engineering across the network.
- Experience in using, interpreting, and analyzing various data sources to provide clear, concise, and robust outputs for decision making.
- A track record of managing workloads, staff, and delivering programmes to defined timescales and deadlines while monitoring progress towards targets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including experience in report writing and liaising with professionals within and outside the public sector.
Location: Glasgow onsite 2 days per week.
Contract: Inside IR35, starting ASAP until 31st March 2025.
