We are seeking an experienced Employment Coordinator to join our Dundee team and support the delivery of our Pathways project. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Senior PES Development Worker and existing Pathways Employment Coordinators to engage with parents, outreach and registration, and employer engagement duties.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with parents, aged 35 and under, unemployed and employed, to support their journey into employment.
- Work with partners in the community to promote the Pathways project and its benefits.
- Undertake employer engagement duties to support individuals into employment.
- Develop and implement strategies to overcome barriers faced by young people and young parents in securing employment.
- Support young people to complete assessments and develop action plans to achieve their employment goals.
- Experience in supporting young people and young parents to access and sustain employment opportunities.
- Knowledge of the employability sector and its challenges.
- Ability to work with employers to support individuals into employment.
- Experience in advocating on behalf of young people and working with partners to signpost individuals to relevant support agencies.
- Knowledge of the barriers faced by young people and young parents in securing employment and the ability to propose solutions.
