About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team at a fantastic secondary school in Swindon. As a key member of the English department, you will be responsible for leading classes across the age range and working proactively with other members of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and mark your own lessons to ensure high-quality education for students
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals
  • Teach all key stages with confidence and enthusiasm

Requirements

  • Kind and approachable individual with excellent organisational skills
  • Assertive and able to work effectively with colleagues
  • QTS or at least 1 year UK teaching experience
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to 'getting involved' in overall school life
