About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Mental Health of Learning Disability (MHLD) service. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing specialist Clinical Psychology services to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect specialist psychology interventions to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Work closely with colleagues in MHLD and other services to ensure timely discharge back into the community for service users who are admitted to in-patient wards.
  • Provide training placements for trainee clinical psychologists in this specialism.
