About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team in the North Kent Directorate, delivering Clinical Care Pathways in KMPT's mental health services. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based clinical interventions, working closely with a dedicated psychological team and receiving focused clinical supervision from experienced practitioners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver 'Initial Interventions' to adults accessing mental health services, as part of the Clinical Care Pathways in the CMHT, with training and weekly supervision provided by experienced Psychological Practitioners.
  • Undertake other structured therapeutic psychological interventions in identified services, using your independent initiative within guidelines provided by a qualified psychologist.
  • Contribute to clinical and service performance-related administration, audit, research projects, teaching, and service improvement work under the guidance of a qualified psychologist.
