Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to become a part of a renowned nursery setting in the heart of London, as a Nursery Room Leader.

The nursery boasts a light and spacious environment, with separate rooms for different age groups, and is conveniently located near a tube station and local bus routes.

The team is comprised of highly qualified teachers who thrive in a creative atmosphere, and the children enjoy a diverse range of activities, including science experiments, yoga, cooking, and community walks.

The nursery cares for children from birth to 5 years old, and the team is passionate about providing exceptional care and education.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will oversee and support other staff members in the room, such as assistant teachers or teaching assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where each child feels valued and secure.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to nursery practitioners in your room.
  • Maintaining open and effective communication with parents or guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress and daily activities.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 childcare qualification, such as a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting is required.
  • An understanding of early childhood educational practices, curriculum planning, and teaching methods.

This is a multifaceted role, requiring a combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities related to early childhood education, management, and interpersonal interactions.
