Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
The salary for this role is up to £41,000.
Main Responsibilities:- To ensure that services and support are provided in a child-centred way, as part of the therapeutic community practice framework.
- The promotion of the therapeutic community within the home, supporting both the children and staff members to invest in the community in the home.
- To contribute to individual staff development by way of their personal development plans, in-house training programmes, and external training.
- To implement a rota system that ensures the most effective use of staff to always support the needs of the children.
- Actively promote and maintain a close working partnership with parents/carers and other significant people in the lives of children, to promote their best interests and ensure positive outcomes.
- To ensure that staff are familiar with and adhere to the care plans as agreed for the children in the home.
- To deputise for the registered manager for aspects of day-to-day operational management of the home.
- A Level 5 Leadership and Management in Children's Residential qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working within supervisory experience in Children's residential care.
- Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections.
